Join us for Age in Action 2008. This year’s festival will be held on Thursday, May 8 in beautiful Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens.
We anticipate approximately 10,000 seniors will once again wear their bright costumes, participate in the ever popular and energetic dance contest, perform dynamic songs, display beautiful crafts and their energetic spirits. It’s the seniors who always add the action to Age in Action!
Last year, more than 230 senior centers arranged a special outing for their clients to attend the event, and we expect as much interest this year. We also continue to promote attendance by older New Yorkers who are not affiliated with the senior center network, so that they too can enjoy the great music, art, entertainment, and exhibits created to educate and delight attendees.
