Working with Unique Coalitions

The NYC Coalition on Aging and Vision is a unique collaboration among the five major vision rehabilitation providers in New York City, who have joined forces over the shared agenda of advancing independence and quality of life for older people experiencing vision loss.  ANYF is proud to have served as the fiscal conduit for the Coalition since its formation seven years ago, and to now expand its role to include overall grant management and fundraising support.

The Coalition aims to serve older adults in New York City who have, or are at risk of, vision loss. Partial, progressive vision loss affects far more people than blindness and has a substantial impact on one’s daily activities and well being, especially among seniors.
